Since we took over the business in November 2003, we
have refurbished the rooms throughout the guesthouse so that they
are
finished
to a very
high
level
of
comfort
and
quality.
We have tried to create a warm and friendly atmosphere where you
can relax in comfortable surroundings.
A notable part of the renovation has been the upgrade
to the heating system and the installation of a Clearview stove in the
dining room so that our guests will be warm and comfortable throughout
the house. Fire regulations dictated that a brand new state-of-the-art
fire
alarm
system with sensitive smoke and heat
detectors has been installed.
The guesthouse is
comprised of two separate houses that were combined many years ago
to create a large rambling seven bed-roomed house. Pictured
below are the rooms on the top floor, and the family suite
and double rooms on the first floor. Each room
has a super-king double bed which may be converted
to twin beds if required. In all, we now have the flexibility
to accommodate up to 6 couples or 12 individuals
in separate beds.

Willow (left) and Birch (below)
are the two rooms on the second floor of the guesthouse that were recently renovated, exposing open beams.
|
Both rooms have super-king/twin
zip-and-link beds so can be either twin or double rooms. In addition,
Willow has a single bed for another person or a child to sleep
on.
They are comfortable rooms with their
own ensuite shower rooms.

Oak is our latest addition to
our guest rooms and is on the first floor with a super-king/twin
zip-and-link bed. It is quite
roomy and has a good sized ensuite
shower room. |
Elm is a cosy room
with a standard double bed on the first floor.
This little room has everything you need, including
an ensuite shower room.

Ash (right) with a super-king/twin
zip-and-link bed and Pine (below) with bunk-size
zip-and-link beds that together make a king-size bed, are the two
connecting rooms that comprise our family suite.
They share an ensuite shower room between them.

Parents can enjoy having a room separate from
their
children but not far away.
