Since we took over the business in November 2003, we have been refurbishing the rooms throughout the guesthouse so that they are finished to a very high level of comfort and quality. We have tried to create a warm and friendly atmosphere where you can relax in comfortable surroundings.

A notable part of the renovation has been the upgrade to the heating system and the installation of a Clearview stove in the lounge so that our guests will be warm and comfortable throughout the house. Fire regulations dictated that a brand new state-of-the-art fire alarm system with sensitive smoke and heat detectors has been installed.

The guesthouse is comprised of two separate houses that were combined many years ago to create a large rambling seven bed-roomed house. Pictured below are the double and family rooms on the top floor, and the family suite and double room on the first floor.

Willow (left) and Birch (below) are the two rooms on the second floor
of the guesthouse that were recently renovated, exposing open beams.
Willow has a double and single bed so can be either a twin, double or family room.
Birch has zip-and-link twin beds that together make a super king-size bed.

They are comfortable rooms with their
own ensuite shower rooms.

Elm is a cosy double room
on the first floor.

This little room has
everything you need, including
an ensuite shower room.

Ash (right) with a double bed, and
Pine (below) with bunk-size zip-and-link beds that together make a king-size bed,
are the two connecting rooms that comprise our family suite.

They share an ensuite shower room between them.

Parents can enjoy having a room separate from their
children but not far away.

All of the rooms also have the following:

Recently upgraded en-suite shower rooms
Remote control colour TV
Tea and coffee making facilities
Hairdryer
