Breakfasts are a relaxed affair, starting at 7.30 during
the week for the earlier riser 'til 8.30 and from 8.30 to 9.30 if you
want a lie in
on the weekend. We offer dry cured bacon and locally made sausages with
fried bread or black pudding on request. The bread and preserves are
homemade and the eggs come courtesy of a local farmer’s free range
chickens.
For Starters:
• Muesli, Cornflakes, Weetabix, Shreddies or Cheerios
• Prunes or grapefruit segments can be available on request
• Fresh fruit (usually apples, oranges and bananas)
• Orange juice
• Toasted homemade Granary bread made from locally milled organic flour
with butter and homemade marmalade and jams (Marmite, peanut butter or
honey are also available)
And cooked in the oven, any combination of:
• Locally made pork sausage
• Dry cured bacon
• Grilled tomatoes
• Mushrooms
•
Free Range Eggs – fried, scrambled, poached or boiled
• Baked beans
• Fried bread, on request
• Black pudding, on request
• Home fries, subject to availablility
Or if you prefer something fishy
• Kipper or smoked mackerel fillets
A pot of English Breakfast Tea, Earl Grey or herbal tea or a cafetiere
of coffee
We are happy to provide vegetarian breakfasts on request - please let
us know in advance if you have any special requests, such as vegetarian
sausages, so that we can ensure we have some for your stay. If
you have any other special dietary requests, such as soya milk or gluten-free
bread, please advise us on booking, as we don't normally
stock these items.
