A group of walkers close to Bishop's Castle with the Linley Beeches climbing the hillside above them. Walkers and ramblers have discovered that South Shropshire has challenging country to walk as there are many hills that are often steep if not long. Long distance walks such as Offa's Dyke, the Kerry Ridgeway, the Shropshire Way and Wild Edrik's Way all either pass through or close to the town. The Long Mynd and Stiperstones are also within easy reach.
